Melbourne Genomics’ clinical and capability-building projects (2016 to 2019) put genomic testing to work in healthcare. Key findings, experience and lessons learnt across our five areas of work are shared in this project portfolio.
Developed by Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance, learn-genomics provides free educational resources on genetic and genomic testing for health professionals. learn-genomics also provides resources that can support consultations with patients about genomic testing and can inform consent.
We are an alliance of ten leading healthcare and research organisations dedicated to bringing the global knowledge of genomics to benefit the individual care of Victorians.
Genomics has huge potential to improve healthcare. Looking at the genome can help diagnose illness more quickly and accurately, and help doctors understand what treatment or medical management may be most effective.
Designed and built by Melbourne Genomics, GenoVic underpins the genomic testing process – taking data off the sequencing machine, through analysis, interpretation and to a clinical report – and providing secure data storage.
